Every year, Mike and I take Nathan to the University of Washington’s Husky Stadium for Husky Picture Day. This is the third year we have taken Nathan and the fourth or fifth year we’ve gone there ourselves. I like to think of this as a fine collegiate tradition that will teach Nathan to revere his parent’s alma mater and to fear even applying to any other Pac-10 school (especially ones that rhyme with “Mashington State University”) or HE WILL BE CUT OUT OF THE WILL.
That might not smite him with the kind of terror we had hoped, seeing as all the treasures I have to leave him as of today is the complete DVD set of Sex and the City, all four Twilight Saga books and the change under the driver’s seat of my car, which may or may not add up to four dollars.
Still nonplussed by the cheerleaders.
But clearly excited about posing with his mother.
Nathan’s favorite part: the field. You can also see how his hair has transformed from Mike Brady to Carol Brady.
