a story about this jacket

I got this Whistler fleece jacket from a garage sale and I love the way it fits. I’m sure I would love it more if it was in an XL instead of a medium so I wouldn’t have to suck in my stomach everytime I sit down. I was wearing this jacket when one of Mike’s friends asked me if I liked to ski.

I had said no because I never have skiied, but I answered in a slow quizzical tone and it wasn’t until I was home when it dawned on me that wearing garb with a fancy resort town logo might give the impression that I know what I’m doing in the snow.

Serves me right for wearing what the other half wears and then sells in their yard.

  1. Yay! I’m the first commenter. Amazing. Let’s hope no one else can type and publish faster than I can.

Girlfriend, today I am wearing pants that hug every inch of fat on my hips, create a disgusting belly roll when I sit, and squeeze the crap out of my thighs. It took me about 10 minutes of pulling and jumping to get them over my big ass and I had to lie down on the bed just to button them. But I wear them because I love them. Hmmm, where was I going with this? I don’t remember. Embrace the medium, screw the extra large! Oh my gosh, this sounds terrible. I don’t know what I’m doing now. Just rambling I suppose.

I love your jacket and next time someone asks about skiing or Whistler just say, “Whistler’s not all that– I prefer Vail.” (true by the way). You do look go in it.
