I bought Nathan the Ultra-Stomp Rocket and a pack of refills. We first tried it out behind our house and then lost one of the rockets to our roof so we headed to the park where there were no rooftop toy graveyards or lazy parents who are like, “Can we use our imagination in the living room? Mommy needs to watch TV and catch up with her ‘stories’!
TJ helped assemble the rocket, though he chewed through the foam tip first and rendering that rocket useless because once there’s a hole, the air just seeps through instead of launching it. We had more luck with the non-chewed rockets.
We ended with a relay race which mirrors exactly what their relationship is: one always running ahead, the other one stumbling forward, muttering, what about me, what about me.
