In two weeks, I’ll be boarding a plane with my almost two-year-old and heading to Saipan for the first time in NINE YEARS. I’ve had this plane ticket for months now, but that sentence is still a heavy one to process.
I talk a lot about what I’m worried about with this Saipan trip–the plane ride itself, the inevitable comments about my weight and hair and whatnot, but all these worrying pales in comparison to how excited I am. A TROPICAL ISLAND IN TWO WEEKS! MARGARITAS STRAIGHT TO MY MOUTH! BEING IN A CLIMATE THAT HAS NO CHANCE OF SNOW!
But the biggest reason for my excitement is that I will be performing comedy! Thanks to the efforts of Boni–who puts the “boni” in “bonita”–and the generosity of Ed Propst, Bison Relations, Larissa Larson and Butch Sigua at Naked Fish, I will be headlining (!) the best night of comedy Saipan has ever seen ever. (NO PRESSURE!) Details below:
Friday, March 30

Now to buy the most outrageous outfit! I’m thinking leopard coconut bra with fringe. No bottoms. Classy, right?
